Crafting Calculator

Use this tool to estimate the raw materials and purchase cost for known crafting recipes.

The calculator is designed to support multiple crafting systems over time. Jewelry Crafting is available now; additional crafts can be added once their recipe material requirements and prices are confirmed.

How the Jewelry Calculation Works

Jewelry metal is purchased in whole slags. Recipes that consume fractional slags leave usable metal behind, so the calculator rounds the purchase requirement up to the next whole slag and shows the expected leftover material.

For example, a recipe that consumes 3 1/3 slags requires purchasing 4 slags, leaving 2/3 of a slag after the item is made.

Use the + button to add more items to an order, or use the quantity field when several copies of the same item are needed. When multiple items use the same metal, their fractional requirements are combined before the calculator rounds up to whole slags. This lets leftover metal from one item count toward another item in the same order.

The prices used here are the confirmed material prices documented in the Jewelry Guide.

Note

Only recipes with confirmed material requirements are included. Missing or unknown crafting requirements are not estimated.
