Scroll Asking For Justice

We've been assaulted with ignorance, our own.
In those to which we've been forced to place our trust.
The republic needs to band together and make a plea
Asking for justice, instead of mediocracy.
Time to cast out, all those found corrupt,
Who has removed the ones that we could rely upon.
Those bringing justice and truth, To enforce and uphold,
Watching over and protecting the young and the old
The streets are all crawling with crime and disorder
The cries of those victims come frequent and unanswered
While already rich pockets fill with dirty coin.
Rats scampering through the sewers looking to join.
The overwhelming stench of corruption at its worst
Citizens all clambering about with no where to turn.
Dirty patricians running to the troughs to feed,
Thieves running rampant to sponsor that greed.
Could hidden agendas mark stables of worth?
Arena fighters and Vermin, standing together?
Look closely beneath that pristine exterior
You'll find Sir Laugh-at-us wiping his high born posterior.
No longer silent this petition goes out.
Talk to your patrons, and force them to see.
Ignore no more those of supposed stature and grace
They care no more for you than a slap to the face.
We the People should stand up and shout, "We are not safe!"
No more to disorder, make the time match the crime
Shake your fists at those in powerful places
Rise up to put an end to these political disgraces.
He's abused our trust to make himself look good.
Refusing to admit the mistakes he has made,
Instead attempts to cover for those he calls client.
Ignoring the many he swore to protect, my how defiant.
This is a summons to all who would not be oppressed
He mocks you in his actions, slights you with his words
Scoffs at your tribulations, with utter contemptual disdain
He cares not for your worries nor for your pain.
The streets have been plagued with big hairy rats
Instead of exterminating the vermin, as should be
He's provided a home, where they accumulate like garbage.
Using his privelege to release them from multiple charges.
He questions when justice has been dealt with truth,
Suspending those who would see this filth weeded out.
Completely disabling a fine and honored tradition.
He kicks them back to home, hearth and kitchen.
This outrage needs stopped, to erase all the damage.
He's had too much rein, its time to pull in his head
So once more I cry out, bring forth all your voices
He may think we're rabble but we're set in our courses.
One more verse and I think this is finished,
Hand these words out to every child, woman and man.
To the high born and senate we plant this seed,
The truth behind office, the corruption and greed.
