Appearance¶
You see a strapping man. He has light blue eyes set above a thin nose, full lips and a square chin. He has a pleasant face, with a tan complexion. He has shoulder-length lustrous golden blonde hair.
Background & History¶
Kronius grew up in modest circumstances in the Coastals area of Iridine. As a young man he was sent to school in Safeland, where he studied the healing arts and developed extensive knowledge as an herbalist, learning to craft potions and brews.
Upon learning of his parents’ deaths, he returned home to Iridine. There he apprenticed under Apula and became a skilled locksmith. His practical trades quickly earned him a small circle of friends, including a Legio soldier who told him about an upcoming recruitment drive. Eager to serve the Republic, Kronius enlisted with the intention of working as a medic rather than a front-line fighter.
Early in training he was paired with a young, abrasive woman who had enlisted a year earlier. She relentlessly belittled his healing skills and insisted that without combat ability he would only be a liability. Under that pressure he left the recruitment program.
Soon afterward he was approached by the newly appointed leader of the Guild of Locksmiths, who invited him to become a partner in running the guild. On the first day of reopening, however, the hall erupted in anger over how the guild had been handed over. Many members quit and, while collecting their belongings, threatened Kronius with serious harm.
That confrontation marked a turning point. Kronius vowed he would never again be weak or defenseless. He placed the guild’s full reopening on hold while he restructures it around a broader range of trades and, more importantly, while he learns to fight.
Today Kronius strives to be both kind and capable of lethality when necessary. He still welcomes every chance to make a new friend or embark on a grand adventure.
